Hola amigos

I don't have a lot to talk about this week but things are going great here. It finally cooled down the past few days here and rained for the first time. My Spanish is coming along pretty well. It's really weird speaking with the theta. haha! We decided that this is the MTC where they not only teach you to speak Spanish, but they teach you how to do it with a speech impediment. It's so funny to hear everyone talk here because it just sounds like we all have really bad lisps.
Anyway I committed my whole district, well the Elders at least, to join me in doing the 100 push up challenge morning and night. So we are all going to be ripped by the time we get home. Hopefully....

The coolest experience this week was in the park on Saturday. My comp and I found a refugee family in the middle of the park surrounded by their suitcases. They had just arrived in Spain and they thought it was so awesome that we believe in eternal families. They took a Book of Mormon in english and in spanish along with all the different pamphlets we had. It was awesome! When we shared our testimonies of the Book of Mormon and eternal families, the mom started to cry. We could feel the spirit so strongly testifying to them that the things we had said were true. It was such an amazing experience!

Second best part of the week was Tuesday. The Portuguese and Russian elders left and since they had to leave so early in the morning we got to go to bed an hour earlier than usual the night before! It was awesome! haha Not much sleeping usually happens around here.

Today we went to the Prado for Pday (personal day). It was freakin awesome the paintings there are amazing!! Plus now i can say that I've seen a 150 million dollar painting in person, pretty cool huh ;)

After the prado we got to go through the temple in Spanish for the first time. It was crazy confusing but the spirit was the same. I love the temple. It is such an amazing place

Anyway, I love you all! Thank you for all of your letters
Cant wait to hear from you again next week!

Love, Elder Childers
