July 30, 2018 Getting Old

First off thanks for all of the birthday wishes! You guys are the best!

Its been a really good week full of great birthday blessings!

First off, after working out butts off for the past few weeks we finally saw some fruits. We had 2 lessons with futures and in both lessons the people had invited a friend! They both went really well so now we have 4 new investigators! So awesome. 

The first one was with a man we had met while shopping on our preparation day. He loves the Bible and is always sending us scriptures so this week we sent him a scripture from the Book of Mormon every day and he loved it! He started crying when at the end of the lesson we him a copy. It was really awesome the spirit was super strong. 

This week we had interviews with President. It was weird because we did them through video calls on Facebook messenger. Still really good though. He is awesome. 

Anyways yeah it was a awesome week. Lots of fun, miracles and birthday cake!

July 16, 2018 Fruit Flies

This week was good we did tons of service working at the comedor and helping a guy remodel his piso. The piso remodel was pretty crazy because the boards of drywall and windows didn’t fit up the stars so we had to lift them onto the lobby roof then pass them up through the balcony window. It was funny everyone around was watching. 

I also had a video conference meeting. It was meeting for missionaries who are going home. It was good ,we talked a lot about making goals. Short and long term and staying active by serving in the church. 

Church yesterday was interesting 8 people showed up. When we started the meeting there were only 3 people and us 4 missionaries haha. A guy from San Fernando came over and he had me direct the meeting which was pretty cool. We had me up there directing the meeting, the other 3 missionaries blessing and passing the sacrament, then 2 of the missionaries gave talks. The whole meeting was run by missionaries haha pretty cool. 

Today was a holiday so everything was shut down. We basically have just been hanging out with the other elders. We ate the pizza buffet at dominos and hung out there for a couple of hours now we are just emailing. 

Yeah thats about all. Elder Dunford and I are working super hard trying to finish strong. We set a district goal of 12 futures this weeks and last night Elder Dunford and I went out and were able to get 5 in just a couple of hours! We’ve seen some miracles running into random people in the street this week!
